Magnavox MDV450

I thought that this was a really great easy tto use and cheap machine that will endure for a large amount of time. Brilliant. 5/5. I loved every single thing about this and was only dissapointed by the seeming diffuculty to find a multi-region hack.

If you have read the previous review you know everything you need to know... except that you can easily make the player multi-region by doing the following:

1. turn on the player.

2. eject the tray.

3. slowly enter the following numbers on the remote:

1-1-1-1-0

4. the unit will now display the new region

5. close the tray

This has been a terrific player and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. If you can find one, grab it!

For the price, this Magnavox MDV450 DVD player is a GREAT unit. Works perfectly out of the box. It is region limited to 1 (as stated on the box). But I have no need for other regions... Remote is well laid out and mostly intuitive.
