This receiver gives a clear, open sound for movies and music alike with its greater power and more features than its smaller sibling making it worth the extra £100 investment. Various surround modes, including 'Dolby Pro-Logic 2' which gives new life to VHS or ANY sterio input (Music included, Classical or Dance) This has enough power to drive almost all speakers (90Wpc RMS) whilst keeping firmly in controll. Paired up to B&W 602's, CC6 centre and LM1's for rears (No Sub) there is plenty of Bass which can be felt as well as heard. An RDS tuner with loads of presets make up the rest of what is a solidly built, well designed receiver.
